Continued Rise #3

By now, it should be fairly evident that the power to whom I am referring is none other than the Papal See. Over the last hundreds of years, it has ruled nations, destroyed kingdoms and caused kings to bow before its power, in humble submission. It will happen again, in the not too distant future.

·       Through its teachings, it has claimed the power to forgive sins;
·       Through its political and religious sanctions claimed authority over kingdoms and potentates and
·       It even equates the Pope with God Almighty.
·       Blasphemies!

Just recently, this power met with the heads of the European Union advising them how to solve their problems, since Brexit. Yes, 28 heads of government were set to meet with this religious power, for leadership and divine guidance. http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/773508/European-Union-EU-leaders-Pope-Francis-Rome-Summit - March 1,

I mean no disrespect to any; I am just a beacon light set upon a hill, to give warning to those who pass by; a watchman on the gates of Zion to let those inside know that danger is approaching, get ready. If I fail to salt my path with truth, then I will lose my ability to flavor the lives of those I serve. It is my prayer that you will continue to read and to study and that you will not be deceived when the last net of deception is cast upon the world.

Continued Rise #2

Whew! Revelation 12 was a very tumultuous chapter, wasn’t it? It is actually describing the true beginning of sin, with the devil as the chief advocate. This happened before Genesis 3, when Adam and Eve fell. But that is a whole other series. All I really wanted to do was to help ease you into Revelation 13, so that you could better understand its context, which is important. I needed you to understand who the real dragon is.

“So the dragon was furious with the woman, and he went off to make war on the rest of her children, on those who keep God’s commandments and hold firmly to the witness of Jesus; and I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads. Each of its horns was decorated with a royal crown, and on its heads were blasphemous names. The beast I saw was like a leopard. Its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave it his power, throne, and great authority.”  Revelation 12:17- 13:2.

Now, let’s connect some dots: beasts represent kingdoms - the dragon is the devil; the devil gives up its seat to the beast that has the ten horns described in Daniel 7: the one who bragged and spoke blasphemy against God; now in Revelation 13:1, we see the names of blasphemy upon his heads, which identifies him as the same beast power.

This beast power began as “pagan” Rome that worshiped the Caesars, but now that Christianity has come upon the scene and the pagan civil leader, Constantine joins the Christian church, now he commands the pagans to become Christians. It is no longer “pagan”; now it is a “Christian” government in name at least.

“The dragon gave it his power, throne, and great authority.”   Again, if you’ll remember, I told you that Constantine gave the bishop of Rome his seat and power and great authority, when he moved to and built up Constantinople. So now this power is no longer “pagan Rome”, it now becomes “papal Rome”, endowed with both civil and religious authority and can easily fulfill the blasphemies spoken of in both Daniel 7 and Revelation 13.

Also, we described bible blasphemy in John 10:33 – “for a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.” (KJV)

We shall expound on this point quite a bit more, in the next post. Keep reading and please keep praying for me as I seek to unfold this great mystery; until next time…

Continued Rise #1

Now that we have seen the birth and death of Christ and the beginning of Christianity, let’s stick a pin in that point.

What I want to do now is to give you a little more background, before we proceed any further. Revelation 12:3-4 describes a great red dragon that is later identified as Satan in verses 7-9, in conflict with Christ and the heavenly angels just prior to being dispelled from heaven.

Now in verses 5-6 and 13-17 of the same chapter, we read of a man child to be born, whom the dragon hates. He seeks to kill the child (Matthew 2:1-8; 16) and persecutes the mother (which is identified as the church – Revelation 12:1-2).

John, the Revelator, is intently watching this display and speaks of the dragon that will go forth to persecute the remnant offspring of her children (the last of the faithful saints in the pure church). Right after this very tumultuous conflict, John describes the scenes in Revelation 13.

Now, chew on those facts for a while, and when I post again, we will dive into Revelation 13, which is filled with soooo much good information. I can hardly wait; until then, bye…
