Trying to figure out God is beyond
man’s ability. However, God invites us into His presence that we might acquaint
ourselves with Him – Exodus 25:8. Therefore, as we attempt to shed some light
upon how the Holy Spirit operates, it will be feeble at best. I shall share
three items, with you.
One thing the Scriptures tell us
about how He operates is this, the Holy Spirit impresses the heart with truth –
“When He the Spirit is come, He shall guide you into all truth… “John 16:13
Next, the Spirit imparts the fruits
of righteousness. “For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and
righteousness and truth…” Ephesians 5:9.
But what is the fruit of the
Spirit? “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…” Galatians 5:22-23
Lastly, the
Holy Spirit seals your salvation. In other words, in order for you to be saved
into God’s kingdom, you must be sealed and the Holy Spirit is the only entity
that can do that. “…In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of
truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, -
Ephesians 1:13
