If you are a regular to my blog,
then you know by now that I talk a great deal about “spiritual” or “religious”
information. Beginning with today’s
blog, I shall begin a series, which covers the various aspects of THE HOLY
SPIRIT. I put that in capital letters
for this reason:
I John 4:1 states: “Beloved,
believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because
many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
The Holy Spirit is one spirit or
entity, not several spirits. As we undertake this series, I shall cover several
aspects of the divine Holy Spirit of God.
He is such a mystery, yet He is such an awesome influencer in the lives
of Christian believers.
We shall seek to better understand
the following items, plus many others that are not listed.
1. Who is the
Holy Spirit?
2. What is His
position?
3. How did He
get here?
4. Is He part
of the divine Godhead?
5. Who
promised to send Him?
6. Why was He
sent?
7. What does
He do?
8. How does He
do what He does?
9. What is His
mission?
10. What role
does He play in the life of the believer?
11. What role
does He play in the church?
12. Should we
concern ourselves with what He is doing?
13. Etc., etc.,
etc.
