If you’ll remember,
last week we talked about what an image is; today, we shall speak of the Beast’s
Mark, which is another term for image. It is a “a recognizable sign or symbol
used to indicate, e.g. ownership…; evidence of the influence or involvement of
somebody or something; a distinctive and identifying feature or characteristic;
signifying sign of power, position
and/or great authority.” Encarta Dictionary: English (North
America).
“And the beast which I saw was
like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as
the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great
authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded
to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the
beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power
unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the
beast? Who is able to make war with him?... And he opened his mouth
in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them
that dwell in heaven…And all that dwell
upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of
life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world…And I beheld
another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and
he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power
of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell
therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed…saying to them that dwell on the earth,
that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a
sword, and did live.” Revelation 13:2-14

Beast is Sunday Worship; and all of Protestantism acknowledges it as such.
Following is a statement issued by the Catholic Church to Protestants, which
asks them why they keep Sunday as the weekly day of worship. It is taken from a
little booklet entitled: Rome’s
Challenge to Protestantism
”Rome’s Challenge: Most
Christians assume that Sunday is the biblically approved day of worship. The
Roman Catholic Church protests that it (The Roman Catholic Church), transferred
Christian worship from the biblical
Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was
made in the Bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings

deceived that the bulk of the Evangelicals’, Lutherans, Methodists, and other
Protestant churches have returned to the Catholic Church and given up the
protest. Presently, a worldwide thrust
is being put in place that will cause people around the world to worship on
Sunday to honor the Beast. Their deadline is by 2020, for all of this to take
