My Choice

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 KJV

When the tribe of Israel had crossed over Jordan, after 40 long years in the wilderness led by their new leader, Joshua; this leader, as he neared the end of his life, put this challenge to the people. He made it very clear that in order to lead a successful spiritual life, they would need to choose a spiritual leader. They could choose the gods of the Egyptians or a god from the other enemy nations of God, such as the Amorites; or they could choose the God, who had led them safely through the wilderness and gave them victories over the many nations, whom they had conquered through the power of Elohim/Jehovah/God.

Think about this: If a particular god gave you victory, after victory over nations – your enemies, who served other deities, would it not seem logical and an act of gratitude, to serve the God, who had given you the victories? Of course it does!

Through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Yashua achieved victory over sin, death and the devil, for every person on earth WHO WOULD CHOOSE CHRIST! All have sinned and come short of the glory of God – Romans 3:23.  However, those sins can be taken away, with acceptance of Christ.

Jesus is the intercessor or legal defendant of you before His Father in heaven NOW, If you will confess and forsake your sins (I John 1:9); and walk in the footsteps of Jesus.  As your defender, Jesus will place a seal in your forehead (Revelation 7:2-3) and will save you from the MARK OF THE BEAST!

I urge you to choose Jesus Christ today! He is an awesome comforter; a lone conqueror and the only Saviour of the world.  Make Jesus your friend today and you will live with Him throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity, in a place that eyes have not seen, nor ears have heard – I Corinthians 2:9.  I have!
