“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If
any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead,
or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be
tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in
the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up
for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast
and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Rev. 14:9-11
Why does God get so angry with those who worship the
beast? Why does God take such drastic measures, as tormenting those people with
fire and brimstone? I am glad that you asked. God gets angry with those who
worship the beast, because He has given every person, many, many opportunities,
to know the truth of the matter.
God has sent His Word – the Bible; He has sent
preachers, teachers, missionaries, Christian neighbors, friends, strangers,
books, the Internet, bloggers, etc. to make every person aware of the coming disaster
and the seriousness of it. Therefore, each person must make a choice, as to who
will be his or her master. If we yield our wills to Christ, He will lead us
into the paths of righteousness and prepare our hearts for this last crisis,
which is to come upon the earth. However, if we turn a deaf ear, we will surely
be deceived and will suffer the wrath associated with those who will worship
the beast. Which side will you select?
