Prepararation For The End

Thanks to all of you who have been so diligent in following my weekly blog.  It has been a joy sharing with you from week to week.  However, November 25th will end my weekly tenure.  I will have completed 200 blogs over the last three years.  I will have covered more than a dozen topics having written extensively about some of them, while others were mere passing thoughts of simple lessons learned.  However, other things demand my attention more than this. If you have signed up for my blog, I shall keep you informed of my other speaking and writing activities.  If you haven’t signed up, please do so before then, to receive free offers and other information. In the meantime, there will be six more blogs, including this one. Don’t miss them!

The Holy Spirit’s mission is to get the saved of earth ready for glory. How does He do it?

There are several specific things the Spirit does to make sure that we get to glory: I have mentioned many of them throughout my previous blogs. I shall cover six of them, as we close out over the next six weeks.

# 1 - The Holy Spirit is our guide:
When you are trying to get to a place that you’ve never been before (heaven); and the map (bible) sometimes looks puzzling and the leaders (pastors) that you consult with make it more confusing – that’s the time that you need a guide who has covered the ground, has lived there and definitely knows how to get you there – that’s the work of the Holy Spirit.

Being one with the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit has insight, knowledge, directional skills and most of all, a commission from the Father to lead us there.

“Howbeit, when He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come.” John 16:13

Yes, the Holy Spirit is the true guide. He will help us to understand the directions in the map; carve out the safest route for us to travel; show us what we’re to look out for, and insure out safety home.

I have learned that if I pay close attention to the leader, I will be safe.
