God's Mercy - My Miracle

I know that my topic today was to be an extension, from last week. However, God has been so good to me that I had to share my testimony (2).

Approximately 12 days ago, I started a “GoFundMe” (https://www.gofundme.com/vehear601), to raise money, so I could purchase a pair of hearing aids. I am a senior citizen, on a fixed income and the aids were very expensive.  So, I wrote my story, as I was advised to do by the GoFundMe coaches. I set my goal at $8,000 and began sending out text messages, emails, and posting on all of my social media platforms. After 110 hits on my campaign page, I received a $5 donation.

I began to feel like the following Bible verses, found in Proverbs 19:
All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.” Verse 7 “Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.” Verse 4

I was beginning to feel very forsaken, by those whom I love dearly. I thought the following verse should be the one that the readers should savor - “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” V. 17

For years, I have tried to live by verse 17; therefore, I was somewhat befuddled that no one was responding to my plea. However, God had not forsaken me. He heard the intensity of my prayer and fulfilled for me the following verses found in Ephesians.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us; unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Someone with a hearing impairment read my “GoFundMe Testimony” and God moved upon his heart to purchase the hearing aids, for me. He was a total stranger. Now, I am telling and singing about the “AWESOMENESS” of MY God!

I must upgrade my cell phone, in order to download the app that will allow me to control and tweak the sound, but I believe that if God has supplied me with the much needed hearing aids, He will also take care of the cell phone upgrade. Therefore, Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah anyhow!
