Miraculous Healing

“The deadly wound was healed.” When General Berthier, of France, took the Pope captive February 10, 1798, it brought an end to Papal rule in Rome. The rule, which had lasted 1,260 literal years or 3-1/2 prophetic years came to an end, exactly as predicted in Daniel 7:24-26 and in Revelation 13:3.

Before continuing, let me explain how I arrived at the 1,260 literal years of Catholic reign. The Jewish calendar was based on 30 day months. There were no odd months, such as January 31, as we have come to know it. 

Additionally, in prophetic calculations, a day was equal to a prophetic year – see Ezekiel 4:6. Therefore, 3-1/2 years equal 42 months, which become 1,260 days; but when the “year for a day” prophecy is applied, it becomes 1,260 prophetic years, which is the exact time of Rome’s rule – 538 AD – 1798 AD.

But then this deadly wound was healed and we see the beginning of the healing, as outlined below in the Lateran Concordat of 1929; it is even referred to as such in the local paper. See for yourself:

On February 11^th, 1929, an historic treaty was signed between the Italian Government and the Vatican re-establishing the political power and diplomatic standing of the Catholic Church, which had been lost when Italy seized Rome, the last of the Papal States, on September 20^th, 1870.

And there you have it – the rest of the story – about the wound – anyway. Even the newspaper headlines pick up on this prophetic event.  Wow! This was fascinating stuff to me, when I first heard and read about this; now, I’m telling whoever will take the time to listen or read, about this fabulous bible prophesy.
