The number one item on the list of the big eight - air!
Air is the most significant entity in the life of anyone. If we remove air, we remove our ability to
breathe; stop breathing and well, we know what will happen next. Therefore, the
biggest contributor on the big eight list is air/oxygen.
Getting fresh air does four things, in particular for our
bodies:
a) It vitalizes us:
if you run or even walk 20 minutes out of every day, you will feel more alive –
just period!
b) Fresh air invigorates you; it can be the stimulus for
waking you up when you are sleepy, or motivating you to move, when you feel
sluggish.
c) Oxygen electrifies your body, by causing the synapses in
your brain to fire more rapidly and thus to clear out the fog in your thinking.
d) It soothes the nerves. Getting 20 minutes’ worth of fresh
air will help you calm down, as well as sleep better at night.
Consequently, don’t get insulted, when someone tells you to “take
a walk”; take it seriously; do it for 20 minutes or more and you’ll be grateful
that you did.
Until next time…Bye!
